Asha was a stereotype "Gentle Giant" Leonberger.  She only growled a few times in her entire life, at her step-brother Irie, when he was stealing her food.  She got along with all our cats and every other animal and person she met.  Her favorite activities were anything involving water: romping through the snow or just laying in it, swimming, laying in the shallow water, laying in the kiddie pool we bought for her when we had a heat wave.  She loved and craved human affection, as was apparent at every party we had where she would have to make the rounds so that every single person could greet her, repeatedly.
